Aura-Ganize pledges to give 15% of organizing revenues to charitable causes on an annual basis.
At Aura-Ganize, we believe in giving back to the community. As part of our commitment to social responsibility, we proudly donate 15% of our organizing project income to charities that we and our clients connect with. We are passionate about creating a positive impact and helping those in need. By donating a portion of our income, we are able to support the causes we care about, while making a difference in the lives of others. We invite you to join us in making a difference in our local community!
At the end of 2023, I donated 15% of my organizing income to the following local charities:
ALS Association
This charity is near and dear to my heart and I hope my donation will help to find a cure.
Friendship Place
One of my clients works with this generous charity to help provide housing to people experiencing homelessness in the D.C. region. Thank you "L" from bringing this charity to my attention.
The VA Maryland Healthcare System
I chose to donate to this worthy cause in honor of my client "T", who served our country for many years with bravery and honor. I found "T" to be such an inspiration and I hope this donation helps our bravest with their healthcare needs.
Dress for Success
One of my clients "K" inspired me to support this charity that helps women prepare for finding and keep a job, by offering many valuable tools and resources. "K" is highly successful in her own right and meeting her made me want to support women who need may need help to fulfill their potential.
2022 Donations:
Chasm Foundation for ADHD Educational Services and Support
A number of my clients have ADHD and as a result, getting organized at home can be very difficult as they navigate their professional and personal lives. I am grateful to have found a local charity that focuses on ADHD and education to donate to.
This charity was meaningful to a client of mine who had a loved one in Hospice care and was also dealing with downsizing at the time. The care, kindness and consideration that my client got from this organization, meant so much to them at such a difficult time in their lives. I am happy to have been able to give a little bit back to this organization that helps families locally.
A good number of my clients are senior citizens looking to lighten the load in their homes, downsize to a smaller place, or get organized so they know exactly where everything is and can access things with ease. This wonderful organization, while not connected with my clients specifically, provides a lot of valuable services for Seniors in the community such as providing rides to people who are no longer driving or giving grocery shopping assistance to those in need. I wanted to be sure that I give something back to the Seniors in my community as a thank you to the Seniors who picked me to help them with their organizing needs.
2021 Donations:
A Wider Circle - This charity is working to end poverty by providing stable homes, workforce development, and neighborhood revitalization to the local community.
Comfort Cases provides children in foster care a special bag to put their belongings in with new pajamas, a new blanket, and a stuffed animal to help during the traumatic transition to foster care.
Akshaya Patra Foundation - This charity provides one wholesome meal to children in need a day at schools in India. Often, that is the only nutritional meal those children eat in a day.
In the summer of 2021, I also donated a professional organizing session to my Home Owners Association as part of our Family Fun Day celebration, which is something I hope to continue as a way to support my neighborhood and get to know my neighbors.
